Our interactions with our children tend to go more smoothly when we are feeling connected. Some moments in the day are easier than others to maintain that connection. Times of transition, whether it’s getting ready to leave the house, heading towards bedtime or mealtime, or ending a play plan, are moments when the connection can break and kids may feel lonely or isolated.
