
Healing Anxiety
Dr. Kahane specializes in helping clients who are struggling with stress and anxiety, as well as symptoms related to past trauma. Through their work in therapy, clients are able to gain insight into stressful personal and interpersonal patterns and to make changes that decrease stress and anxiety. Dr. Kahane’s approach focuses on how tension and discomfort live in the body and she is able to teach clients how to notice and release this tension, and experience more day-to-day energy, comfort and ease.
Mindfulness
Dr. Kahane's approach to therapy draws on the practice of mindfulness as a way to encourage the integration of mind and body. By practicing simple techniques focusing on the breath, clients are able to feel more aware and relaxed in the present moment, as well as gain insights into life patterns and develop new coping strategies.
